Resident Requirements

DO I NEED TO GET VACCINATIONS/IMMUNIZATIONS/SHOTS IF I LIVE ON CAMPUS?

º£½ÇÂÒÂ×ÉçÇø highly recommends that residential students get and provide documentation of vacation dates on your housing application for the following:

  • Tetanus/Toxoid
  • M.M.R. (Measles, Mumps, Rubella)
  • Polio*
  • Diphtheria
  • Meningitis
  • Covid-19

Students will be living in close proximity in a community environment – Park believes getting vaccinations is the best way to protect our community.

DO I HAVE TO LIVE ON CAMPUS?

Yes. º£½ÇÂÒÂ×ÉçÇø has a residency requirement for single students under the age of 21.  Students meeting these criteria will have housing charges placed on their student account

What if I live with my parents?

A must be submitted to the Office of Residential Life.

A housing waiver may be requested for the following reasons:

  • Student is living with their parents, legal guardians or dependent children within a 50-mile radius of campus OR
  • Student is 21 years old or has completed 58 or more credit hours prior to their first semester of attendance at º£½ÇÂÒÂ×ÉçÇø.

DO I HAVE TO HAVE A MEAL PLAN?

If you are a residential student, you need to choose one of three meal plans. Meals are part of the room-and-board package and cannot be separated out. See for meal plan options.

ARE SINGLE ROOMS AVAILABLE IN THE RESIDENCE HALLS?

All students should prepare to have a roommate due to limited capacity in the residence halls. Single rooms may be available in limited numbers. Priority is given to upper-division students. An additional charge is required at confirmation each semester.

INTERNET CONNECTION

Wireless connection is available in all buildings and Ethernet connection is available in rooms upon request. In order to access º£½ÇÂÒÂ×ÉçÇøâ€™s Internet in the residence halls, you must have a current virus scan software installed and activated on your computer.

E-MAIL

E-mail is º£½ÇÂÒÂ×ÉçÇøâ€™s official form of communication and should be checked daily. You will be able to log into your e-mail account after getting your student ID number and password, which is mailed out to students. For security reasons, the ID number and password are each sent in a separate letter.
