Licensure Programs & Disclosure Requirements
In compliance with federal regulations, º£½ÇÂÒÂ×ÉçÇø provides students with information about programs that are designed to lead to a professional or teaching licensure. The intention is to aid students in making informed decisions about their education and career path.
º£½ÇÂÒÂ×ÉçÇø licensure programs strive to maintain accurate and up-to-date information about the educational requirements for licensure in the United States. However, regulations are subject to change and varying interpretations. In addition to possible changes in educational requirements, licensure often includes additional requirements, such as specific examinations and additional training or practicum hours. It is highly recommended that students seek guidance from the appropriate licensing agency before beginning an academic program to ensure they know what is needed to obtain the license/certification/registration in the state in which they intend to practice and/or seek licensure.
°Õ³ó±ðÌý maintains a listing by profession of licensing and regulatory boards in North America. This may be helpful for researching professional licensure or certification processes, requirements, and agency contact information. Please consult with your advisor or admissions representative for additional assistance.
Student Location
º£½ÇÂÒÂ×ÉçÇø determines the student location for purpose of licensure disclosures in the following manner: the address the student lists as the primary address when completing the admission application or when providing an updated address to º£½ÇÂÒÂ×ÉçÇø’s student information system during periods of enrollment. The student is responsible for notifying º£½ÇÂÒÂ×ÉçÇø of address changes.
In cases where a current address is requested but not provided, the student location will be considered the State of Missouri. Similarly, for students residing outside any U.S. state or territory, the student location will be considered the State of Missouri.
Public Disclosures
º£½ÇÂÒÂ×ÉçÇø licensure programs are required to indicate whether their program meets the educational requirements for licensure in certain U.S. states. Prospective students residing in a state in which educational requirements of licensure have not been affirmed, will not be eligible for federal financial aid for that program unless they intend to practice in a state where the program meets educational requirements. In these cases, the student must formally attest to this intent, in writing and provide it to their advisor or admissions representative.
Direct Disclosures to Students
The U.S. Department of Education requires º£½ÇÂÒÂ×ÉçÇø to disclose information directly to students based on their location or change in location. Relocation to another state during the course of your program may impact your ability to obtain licensure in a new state. Please communicate with your program director prior to relocating to explore your options.

The following are links to the required disclosures for all º£½ÇÂÒÂ×ÉçÇø programs that are designed to lead to licensure. Current and prospective students should communicate early and often with their program directors about licensure requirements in the state in which they intend to practice.
