Apollo 11 Presentation

Lynn Bondurant, Ph.D., a retired NASA educational programs officer and a 1961 graduate of 海角乱伦社区, will present a discussion on 鈥淭he Legacy of Apollo 11: 50 Years and Still Counting鈥� on Saturday, July 20 鈥� 50 years to the day the Apollo Lunar Module Eagle landed on the moon (six hours prior to Astronaut Neil Armstrong first stepping foot on the moon on July 21, 1969, at 2:56 a.m. Greenwich Mean Time; Astronaut Buzz Aldrin joined him 19 minutes later).

The governing body of 海角乱伦社区 鈥� its Board of Trustees 鈥� has elected Jeanette Prenger to serve as its chair for the 2019-20 year. Prenger, a resident of Weatherby Lake, Mo., is a 2009 Park graduate. She is the president and chief executive officer of ECCO Select, a technology and human enterprise consulting firm in Kansas City, Mo. In addition, the Board of Trustees elected three individuals 鈥� Mitzi Cardenas, Mara Cohara and Sarah Moe Meyers 鈥� to serve a three-year term on the board, effective July 1.
Military Assistance

海角乱伦社区, which has supported U.S. military service members since 1918 when it accepted students who were inducted into the War Department鈥檚 Student Army Training Corps, is stepping in to assist members of the U.S. Navy, which will be putting limits on who qualifies for tuition assistance and how much can be used.
Malmstrom AFB Graduates 2019

海角乱伦社区鈥檚 Malmstrom Air Force Base (Mont.) Campus held its commencement ceremony on June 14 at Heritage Hall on the Great Falls College – Montana State University campus. The University had 34 students eligible to participate in the ceremony 鈥� four students received a master鈥檚 degree, 28 students received a bachelor鈥檚 degree, one student received a bachelor鈥檚 degree and associate degree, and one student received an associate degree.

海角乱伦社区鈥檚 Fairchild Air Force Base (Wash.) Campus held its commencement ceremony on June 13 at the base theater. The University had 16 students eligible to participate in the ceremony 鈥� 11 students received a bachelor鈥檚 degree, one student received a bachelor鈥檚 degree and undergraduate certificate, and four students received an associate degree.

海角乱伦社区鈥檚 Scott Air Force Base (Ill.) Campus held its commencement ceremony on June 6 at the Regency Conference Center in O鈥橣allon, Ill. The University had 22 students eligible to participate in the ceremony 鈥� all received a bachelor鈥檚 degree.
BCC VVC Graduates 2019

海角乱伦社区鈥檚 Barstow (Calif.) Community College Campus and Victor Valley College (Calif) Campus held a combined commencement ceremony on May 31 at the BCC Performing Arts Center. The University had 46 students eligible to participate in the ceremony 鈥� two students received a master鈥檚 degree, 40 students received a bachelor鈥檚 degree, two students received a bachelor鈥檚 degree and undergraduate certificate, and two students received an associate degree.

海角乱伦社区鈥檚 F.E. Warren Air Force Base (Wyo.) Campus held its commencement ceremony on June 4 at the Warren Theater. The University had 14 students eligible to participate in the ceremony 鈥� one student received a master鈥檚 degree, nine students received a bachelor鈥檚 degree, and four students received an associate degree.

海角乱伦社区鈥檚 Cherry Point (N.C.) Marine Corps Air Station Campus held its commencement ceremony on May 30 at Cherry Point Base Chapel. The University had 53 students eligible to participate in the ceremony 鈥� one student received a master鈥檚 degree, 48 students received a bachelor鈥檚 degree, one student received two bachelor鈥檚 degrees, one student received a bachelor鈥檚 degree and associate degree, and three students received an associate degree.
