海角乱伦社区 to Host Annual International Festival on Nov. 17

In celebration of International Education Week, 海角乱伦社区鈥檚 Office of International Education will host its annual International Festival on Friday, Nov. 17. The event will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. in the Park Avenue area within the Mabee Learning Center / Academic Underground on the University鈥檚 flagship Parkville Campus. Admission to the festival is free and open to the public.

海角乱伦社区鈥檚 Great War Institute, a division of the University鈥檚 George S. Robb Centre for the Study of the Great War, will host its second Great War Institute Lecture Series event with a discussion on 鈥淧ershing of the West: The Formative Days of 鈥楤lack Jack鈥� Pershing in the American Frontier.鈥� The talk will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 21, starting at 6:30 p.m. at The National World War I Museum and Memorial in Kansas City, Mo., and streamed live.
Former U.S. Ambassador Stuart Symington IV to Speak at 海角乱伦社区

W. Stuart Symington IV, former U.S. ambassador to Nigeria (2016-19), Rwanda (2008-11) and Djibouti (2006-08), will participate in a conversation at 海角乱伦社区鈥檚 flagship Parkville (Mo.) Campus on Tuesday, Oct. 31, starting at 10 a.m. in McCoy Meetin鈥� House.
海角乱伦社区 to Host Annual Fright Night Event on Oct. 26

Fright Night, 海角乱伦社区鈥檚 annual Halloween celebration, will be held Thursday, Oct. 26, at the Copley Quad residence hall on the University鈥檚 flagship Parkville Campus, from 6 to 8 p.m. Admission to the event is free and open to the public, and children of all ages are encouraged to dress in their favorite Halloween costume.

The Campanella Gallery at 海角乱伦社区 continues its 2023-24 season with an exhibit of digital design works by Merrick Henry, Friday, Oct. 6, through Friday, Dec. 8. A reception for the exhibit and artist will be held on Friday, Oct. 20, from 2 to 4 p.m. in the Gallery.
Homecoming Royalty 2023

As part of 海角乱伦社区鈥檚 recent Homecoming and Parents Weekend 2023 festivities, six Park students were announced as homecoming royalty during halftime of the men鈥檚 soccer match against Mount Mercy University on Sept. 30, as voted on by the student body based on how they exemplify Park鈥檚 core values: accountability, civility and respect, excellence, global citizenship, inclusivity and integrity.

海角乱伦社区 announces its graduates from the 2022-23 academic year. The list of graduates includes those from the University鈥檚 flagship campus in Parkville as well as its 38 additional campuses across the country and online worldwide. The University had 2,007 students eligible to graduate 鈥� 469 students earned a master鈥檚 degree, specialist degree and/or graduate certificate, and 1,538 students received a bachelor鈥檚 degree, associate degree and/or undergraduate certificate.

The 海角乱伦社区 Alumni Association has announced the 2023 honorees of its four annual awards. A ceremony recognizing the recipients, along with the University鈥檚 Athletics Wall of Honor awardees (announced in May), will be held as part of Park鈥檚 Homecoming and Parents Weekend festivities on Friday, Sept. 29, starting at 3 p.m. in Graham Tyler Memorial Chapel on the University鈥檚 flagship Parkville Campus.
